Well, the quote seems true for actress-turned-politician Angelika dela Cruz after receiving ire comments and reactions from bashers amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

In an Instagram post, she posted a photo with a caption, “In this time of crisis, if you cannot help, just quarantine your mouth!”

She added, “Kung hindi makakatulong sa mga tao ang sasabihin natin please…”

In the comments section, celebrities like Lovi Poe and Kakai Bautista commended the actress including a few netizens.

She even agreed with a netizen who claimed that one of the negative effects of social media is freedom of expression leading some to become “a bully, a racist, and verbally abusive and violent to the extreme level.”

Angelika is currently the barangay captain in Longos, Malabon, where she actively does her part as an elected official.
