Rhian, planong gumawa ng album

Matagal nang plano ni Rhian Ramos ang magkaroon ng sariling singing album—but because of conflicts in schedule, hindi matuloy-tuloy ang recording niya. Pero, even though her album plans are shelved, nagawa pa rin ni Rhian na ipakita ang kanyang singing chops through the lead single of the 'Auditions Dance Battle' album, 'You.' Text by Jason John S. Rhian explains that she was supposed to record one ngayong 2009, pero dahil sa kanya napunta ang role na Jodi sa Stairway to Heaven, kinailangan munang i-postpone ang plans for her music career. "It takes so much time to do," Rhian tells us, at ayaw naman daw niyang mag-suffer ang quality ng gagawin niya by multi-tasking. Kaya they had to shelve the album plans. "Pero, ang bait lang ni God, nabigyan niya ako ng kahit single lang." Not that Rhian wasn't challenged by her first foray into the music world. "I never realized how much emotion is put into singing!" Kuwento sa amin ni Rhian, while recording the song, "nasabihan ako, 'alam mo, tama yung tono—pero sing it like you mean it.' May acting?!" But despite this, she is looking forward to doing it again. "It's something I want to do, gusto ko ituloy—maybe, pagkatapos ng Stairway to Heaven. Gusto ko ituloy yung album." "Every year kasi, gusto ko may surprise ako sa mga sumusuporta sa akin." Rhian continues, "every year iba naman yung mapapakita [ko]." Dugtong niya, "dapat nga yung album this year; buti natuloy ang single. So isa yan sa puwede nilang abangan sa akin next year." Tinanong rin namin si Rhian about shooting the music video. She tells us na talagang nag-enjoy siya doon, and reveals that she had a thought while they were filming it. "Nung ginagawa ko na, naisipan ko rin na it would be nice nga to get someone na nakatrabaho ko na before." In the video, Rhian has a leading man to whom she's singing the song to. And she hints to us that she would've liked for a co-star from a certain gender-bending series to have starred in the video with her. "Alam mo 'yun, 'yung kahit sa music video, kung ano 'yung chemistry na nakukuha sa soap malagay man lang doon? Ganda rin. Inspired!" Rhian says she'll just keep the thought para sa kanyang susunod na music video. "Pero kailangan i-secret kung sino. Abangan!"
