Senator Miguel Zubiri declared he has finally recovered from COVID-19.
Senator Migz Zubiri gives update on health after COVID-19 diagnosis
Sen. Zubiri announced the good news on Facebook during Easter Sunday, April 11.
"Today we celebrate Easter Sunday as the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. As a day of Thanksgiving i would also like to thank God and our Lord for a second chance in my life by healing me from COVID-19.
"Just received the happiest news ever of my second negative result from the Makati City health office. Which is a requirement for all COVID-19 positive patients to be considered recovered."
He then thanked all the healthcare workers who took care of him during his hospital stay.
“Thank you so much Dr. Paz Corrales of the DOH and Ma'am Wheng Hetrosa of the Makati City Health for taking care of me. God bless us and protect us all from this deadly virus.”
Sen. Zubiri disclosed his positive COVID-19 status to the public on March 16.

His fellow senators Sen. Koko Pimentel and Sen. Sonny Angara have also tested positive from the coronavirus, with Sen. Angara also announcing his recent recovery.
