Sarah Geronimo's “Tala” has been our country's dance anthem and it seems Sam YG's parody of the popular song will make it the soundtrack of our lives under quarantine.
Sam YG parodied “Tala” into “Gala” which means to loiter or to wander; basically what everyone has been missing to do ever since the implementation of the enhanced community quarantine in March.
In his parody, the melody of Sarah's hit was retained but the lyrics were wittily replaced.
Gala, gala, gala...”
Do you recognize which part of the song these words go? Tune in and dance along!
