Filipino gymnast Carlos Yulo has landed on another title and no, it doesn't have anything to do with gymnastics.

The 19-year-old gymnastics powerhouse just catapulted his way into Forbes “30 Under 30 Asia” 2020 list under the Entertainment and Sports Edition.

According to the magazine, Carlos is the “next generation of talent across Asia who are challenging conventional wisdom and rewriting the rules for the next generation.”

And who could deny him the title? Carlos is the first Filipino and Southeast Asian athlete to win a gold medal at the World Artistic Gymnastics Championships in 2019.

He also earned two gold and five silver medals at the 2019 Southeast Asian Games earning him a President's Award at the Philippine Sportswriters Association.

He will be representing the Philippines in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics under the mentorship of his coach, Munehiro Kugiyama.

Similarly, Filipino skateboarder Margielyn Didal of Cebu took a spot on the coveted list.

Although skateboarding isn't a popular sport in the country, Margielyn has helped put the Philippines on the global map when she won the gold medal at the 2018 Asian Games when she was only 18 years old.

She also landed on Time's list of “25 Most Influential Teens of 2018” recognizing her feat in winning a gold medal in the Asian Games which it said would “cement skateboarding status as a serious sport” in the Philippines.

The now 20-year-old is preparing to qualify for the upcoming Olympic Games in Tokyo where skateboarding has been included in the games for the first time.

Congratulations to Carlos and Margielyn!
