The 27-year-old beauty queen has experienced a lot of firsts as Miss Universe. It was indeed unforgettable reporting about the biggest sporting event in America, “Great game. Great performances. Great life experience.”
From the Miss Universe stage, the actress-model walked for American fashion designer Sherri Hill in the New York Fashion Week as well.
She took her last walk, made her farewell speech as Miss Philippines and crowned her successor Maxine Medina. Her sweet words for her were, “It's not just a pretty headpiece they put on top of your head. It's your ticket to represent the Filipina and the whole nation. And I know you're ready.”
Who's the lucky girl to steal Dr. Mike's heart? The two were rumoured dating shortly after she was crowned as Miss Universe, but it eventually fizzled out. Pia said that her number one priority is being Miss Universe.
The actress-turned-beauty queen is the face of the Miss Universe Asian Adventures wherein she gave a virtual tour of her homecoming through the High 5 Casino application on Facebook.
Pia serves as the Philippine representative in the United Nations meetings in relation to her campaign, HIV/AIDS. She has even visited various offices all over the world to tap them for her cause.
She consistently gives a shout out to the public through her social media account to “Get tested!”

She flew back to Manila to visit Archbishop Luis Antonio Cardinal Tagle to personally turnover donations for the Youth Servants Leadership and Educational Program.
She's everywhere! Pia has travelled to the States, London, Ecuador, Peru, Panama, Dubai among others to fulfill her Miss Universe duties. She will be back in the country on January to promote the 65th Miss Universe pageant.
Queen P doesn't want to give up her crown just yet. Luckily, she will still work closely with the Miss Universe Organization even after her reign.
