The PPEs were created by the Iloilo-based fashion designer Ram Silva, he posted photos of the frontliners from the Internal Medicine department of the Western Visayas Medical Center.

The kind gesture inspired the PPE designer Ram Silva, who expressed his gratitude online.

He reposted the tweet from Money Heist and said, "La Casa de Papel reposted it!!!! Nairobi can finally see it!!! God you are amazing!!!"

In a past interview with GMA News Online, Ram said he decided to help in producing PPEs to spread "a different kind of positive amidst the chaos."

After a trip abroad, Ram went on a 14-day quarantine during which he suffered from anxiety, He said, "'Pag-uwi ko kasi I need to close my business for a while."

He said he needed to do something to help even while on quarantine, which led to his idea of making creative PPEs.

Money Heist is currently among the Top 10 most-watched programs on Netflix Philippines.
