An emotional BB Gandanghari is seen on YouTube lately as she confessed that she feels hurt by her family's indifference towards her.

According to BB, her family doesn't even bother giving her a phone call.

In a video posted on April 20, the former matinee idol felt touched by a fan's comment who mentioned that she turns off her adblocker in order to support BB.

The netizen said, “I totally understand where you are coming from. Being alone for an extended period of time can take its toll on your mental health.

“It is not easy. Sometimes, my heart would literally twist in pain because of loneliness. Please always know, that you may be alone in your house, but you are not alone. That is why I am drawn to your vlog. We got this. Love ya, stay safe and healthy.”

Moved by the letter, BB said she feels appreciated and loved by strangers, unlike her own kin.

BB, formerly known as Rustom Padilla, is the brother of actors Robin, Royette, and Rommel Padilla.

“Magpapakahonest ako. I worked hard for my existence and I do what I do because I think it can provide… I can make a living out of it. So I really appreciate it.

“Kung may nakapanood sa inyo doon sa Instagram, ito 'yung pinanggagalingan bakit sumama yung loob ko before. Kasi imbis na suportahan ka as in di ka susuportahan at all. Gagamitin ka lang. Pero hindi… you know what i mean.

“Samantalang kayo na 'di ko naman kilala, how come you feel me?

“How come hindi rin ito maisip ng kapatid ko? 'Yung...ano bang tawag dun? Bilas? 'Yun ba 'yung tawag dun? Or sister-in-law na walking doll.”

She then went on to say that her family made her feel worthless. But the fact that her followers are there to support her, made living worthwhile.

“I'll be very honest. If you feel what she [netizens] feels, you would call me and tell me, 'Bb, dalaw ako dyan sa bahay mo. Baka matulungan ka ng followers ko.' Pero hindi. Parang napaka bigat na gawin nila 'yun.

“But anyways okay lang kasi alam ko, we can do this. I can do this without them… alam mo yun?

“Sa awa ng Diyos, I'll take it. But maraming salamat sa inyo. Because of you alam kong kaya ko at magsa-succeed tayo.”

Furthermore, BB concluded that reading the fan letter made her feel assured of her own feelings as a human being.

“Honestly, alam mo 'yung maganda dito… Isa 'yung sa pinaparamdam ng pamilya mo na parang wala kang kwentang tao. Na you don't deserve a call…

“At least nararamdaman ko ngayon na hindi ako abnormal. Baka sila. Hindi pala abnormal 'yung feeling ko na masaktan.

“Hindi pala ako dramatic, manhid lang sila. Kaya thank you. And thank you sa inyong lahat.”

It was back in January 2009 when BB Gandanghari came out as a transwoman and chose to undergo gender confirmation surgery. Her brother, Robin Padilla, at first said he accepted his decision but later denied his statement stating that he is not in good terms with her.

BB Gandanghari is currently living alone with her dog Imman in Los Angeles, California.
