Hey Uaena and ARMY! It looks like IU and BTS's Suga will collaborate for an upcoming project very soon.
According to IU's agency, EDAM Entertainment, the two will join forces for the former's highly-anticipated comeback album in the coming month.
A representative stated, “IU will be releasing a digital single on May 6 and will also be releasing a music video along with her music.”
The agency also revealed that BTS Suga is crafting a song for the upcoming album.
“As musicians of the same age, the two singers were able to relate to one another and use that as a foundation for exchanging opinions. They created their own unique synergy which will reflect in their song.”
According to reports made by Soompi, IU has already completed filming the music video for her new song which is described to be of a different style from her past music.
As per usual, the singer was also reported to be hands-on with the whole production process --- from its composition to mapping out the overall concept of the single.
On Twitter, the beloved South Korean singer shared through a teaser image that her comeback single produced by Suga will be titled “8."
The track will follow IU's 2019 EP Love Poem and is slated to be released on May 6, 2020.

Film with Park Seo Joon
The month of May will also be jam-packed for IU as she confirmed that she will be working on an upcoming film titled Dream with fellow Korean actor Park Seo Joon the same month.
She said during a radio guesting on KBS Cool FM, “We will begin filming this May, so both our teams have been meeting up and going through the scripts and having meals together.
“I think the set atmosphere will be fun and I think the film itself is quite joyful, interesting, and heartwarming too!”
She added, "Thankfully, I've received lots of good scripts and offers along the way, whether it's My Mister's Jian Ie or Hotel del Luna's Man Wol.
"The roles I've portrayed were mostly one of a kind and memorable.
“Among them would be Dream's So Min who stands out to me as a character that is very humanly without any special weapon.
"So Min is the kind of person I wish to have at least one around me. I've always wanted to portray this kind of character.”
Dream tells the story of a group of people trying out for the Homeless World Cup, an annual international soccer event. The team is led by coach Yoon Hong Dae (played by Park Seo Joon), a professional soccer player on disciplinary probation after being caught up in an unexpected event.
Details about IU's character are not yet released but she will be playing the lead female role Lee So Min.
