BTS to join first ever virtual Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards

Global K-pop superstars BTS will be part of the 2020 Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards!

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the awards and the performances will be held remotely.

The virtual ceremony is titled "Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards 2020: Celebrate Together" and has pledged to donate $1M to the COVID-19 relief efforts of No Kid Hungry campaign to end childhood hunger in the US.

BTS is nominated for two awards, namely Favorite Music Group and Favorite Global Music Star.

Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards 2020: Celebrate Together will be held on May 2 and will be hosted by singer and actress Victoria Justice.

This is the first time for the annual awards show to hold a virtual ceremony since its inception in 1988.

Aside from BTS, stars like Dwayne Johnson, Ariana Grande, and cast members of The Avengers: Endgame are also expected to make an appearance.
