'Stairway to Heaven' star Baek Sung Hyun marries his girlfriend of 4 years
We believe congratulations are in order for 'Stairway to Heaven' and 'The Doctors' star Baek Sung Hyun as he announced that he is now happily married to his longtime girlfriend of four years.
The actor tied the knot in a private wedding ceremony attended by his close family and friends on Saturday, April 25.
Yesterday, April 27, Baek Sung Hyun shared how happy he is to know that he will be spending a lifetime together with his chosen bride.
He wrote [as translated to English], “I still can't believe it, but I've gotten married. We'll live a good life by treasuring and loving one another. Taking this marriage as an opportunity, I'll greet viewers with a good project as an even better actor in the future. Thank you.”
In his wedding pictures, taken by Wise Wedding, the actor dons both traditional and modern looks as he is seen wearing a hanbok and a clean-cut suit.
His wife, also exuded charisma as they lovingly looked at each other's eyes.

Early this month, Sidus HQ announced the upcoming wedding in a statement.
It read: “Baek Sung Hyun will be tying the knot on April 25. The bride-to-be is a non-celebrity who is three years younger than the actor. They met four years ago through a mutual acquaintance and have been dating seriously.
“Baek Sung Hyun, who was discharged from the military last October, maintained the relationship throughout his service with his unchanging love, building trust, and faith with each other and finally reaching the beautiful fruit of love, marriage.
“As the bride-to-be is not a public figure, the wedding will be held privately with each side's family and close acquaintances in attendance. We ask for your standing.
“Please send warm congratulations to the couple who will be embarking on a new start in their lives.

Baek Sung Hyun made his acting debut in 1994 in the film “I Wish for What is Forbidden to Me” when he was only five years old. His breakout role was the 2003 K-Drama “Stairway to Heaven” where he played the young Cha Song Joo (eventually played by Kwon Sang Woo). In 2016, he played Pi Yeong Gook in “The Doctors” with Park Shin Hye, and in 2017 he made a guest role in the hit “While You Were Sleeping.”
