Glaiza de Castro contemplates the future of showbiz after COVID-19 crisis

Kapuso drama actress Glaiza de Castro shared her thoughts on Instagram about the effects of the COVID-19 to the local entertainment industry.

On her Instagram post, Glaiza shared some snaps from the last taping she did in Banaue, Ifugao Province last March.

On its caption, the Kapuso actress said, "Habang nag ba browse sa camera, nakita ko itong huling taping namin sa Banaue bago nangyari ang enhanced community quarantine.

"Ano kaya mangyayari sa mga shootings at tapings kapag naipatupad na ang new normal?

"Maitutuloy pa kaya itong soap? Maipapalabas pa kaya ang mga pelikula sa sinehan?"

Despite these questions, Glaiza remained hopeful about the status of the entertainment industry after the pandemic.

"Though marami ring kagaya ko ang nagtatanong at nag aantay, kumakapit parin ako sa paniniwalang magiging maayos ang lahat.

"Dasal lang mga kaibigan sa industriya, magkikita kita tayong muli," she wrote.

Since March, GMA Network has suspended network-produced programs in compliance with enhanced community quarantine in Luzon.
