GMA's Koreanovela Diva, Faith Cuneta sings 'Stairway to Heaven' theme song

GMA's Koreanovela Diva, Faith Cuneta returns to sing her original song “Pag-ibig Ko'y Pansinin” for the Philippine adaptation of Korea's well-loved soap “Stairway to Heaven” featuring Dingdong Dantes and Rhian Ramos.

Faith Cuneta has been waiting for her comeback and sing Koreanovela theme songs again. After her hiatus from showbiz, focusing on her family, Faith is ready to sing for her fans once again.

"The clamor was always there, fans would PM me on FB, IG, when my next Koreanovela and teleserye theme song will be," she excitedly reports.

"Busy being a mother, every now and then I would get inquiries for wedding gigs and corporate events, people would ask when? When will they hear me again sing on GMA. I was just praying and waiting, I always felt that the right song for a koreanovela would come. And then in this time of ECQ, I got a call from GMA, that they will use my song in the rerun of Stairway to Heaven Pinoy adaptation. I was super happy, kase feeling ko bumalik yung song sa akin!”

Faith recorded “Pag-ibig Ko'y Pansinin” and was used in the Korean version of Stairway to Heaven which aired on GMA 15 years ago.

Faith is truly ecstatic about singing her original hit song once again for Stairway to Heaven. She comes in and out of the country to be with her (American) husband in the States. Thanks to the ECQ she got stuck here in Manila when GMA called her to sing the theme song.

Faith Cuneta, is a homegrown GMA Network artist. She started her career when she won the GMA Metropop Singing competition back in 1997 alongside Kyla and Jonard. After finishing her studies at the College of St. Benilde, she pursued her passion for singing by singing professionally in bars and Hotel Lounges.

GMA got her to sing for their Koreanovelas such as Endless Love, Winter Sonata, Jumong, Hwang Jini, Jewel In the Palace, and Stairway to heaven and was dubbed as the AsianNovela Diva.

She has released five albums and also bagged Aliw Awards best female performer in 2008.
