Fans clamor for Barbie Forteza and Joshua Dionisio's reunion

The Internet went gaga after Stairway To Heaven came back on television last Monday, May 18.

This is mainly because of the remarkable love team of Barbie Forteza and Joshua Dionisio, who portrayed the young counterpart of the main characters, Jodi and Cholo, respectively, in the 2009 drama series.

Solid fans of Barbie and Joshua, dubbed as JoshBie, clamored for their reunion project after witnessing their believable chemistry again.

According to some netizens, JoshBie is the original tandem who started the millennial love team trend.

After their successful stint in Stairway To Heaven, Barbie and Joshua were given numerous projects where they played on-screen partners. The list includes First Time, Pilyang Kerubin, and, of course, Reel Love Presents: Tween Hearts.

Joshua quit showbiz in 2017 but occasionally accommodates TV guest appearances.

On the other hand, Barbie is currently playing Ginalyn in Anak ni Waray vs. Anak ni Biday.

Early this year, she was named as the Kapuso Primetime Princess after a decade of portraying lead roles in Kapuso teleseryes.
