20 of the most beautiful women around the globe walked in custom-made ternos by Filipino designers in the Vigan Terno Fashion Show.
Miss Philippines proudly walked in a white Filipiniana held in Calle Crisologo, Vigan which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Miss Thailand wore a gown by Filipino fashion designer Rian Fernandez. She praised the masterpiece, “[I] love this dress, it's glam and classy.”
Miss Slovak Republic feels privileged for having been selected as one of the candidates to wear a terno. She can't help but “fall in love with this country and [its] people.”
Miss Venezuela is thankful for her experience at Miss Universe. She even said in Spanish that her dress is nothing short of beautiful.
Miss Great Britain wore a yellow and white terno for the fashion show.
Miss Netherlands looked fabulous in an emerald green dress.
Miss Nicaragua brushed off the haters by explaining the purpose of the fashion show, “[It] was to demonstrate [the] dresses that were used long ago in the Philippines. It was all a spectacular work they put together today. The designers [created the] dresses for us to wear.”
Miss Sierra Leone feels empowered in her fiery red dress, “Red is the color of love and royalty and my designer made me feel both. What made this Filipiniana gown special is that it made use of Abel Iloko, a hand woven fabric made exclusively here in Ilocos. Filipinos are truly world class!”
Miss USA looked lovely in a magenta and white gown.
Miss Brazil walked the ramp in a white modern Filipiniana.
Miss Bulgaria felt regal in her dress, “I love it!”
Miss Vietnam wore a red gown which is the color of her country's national flag.
Miss Singapore thanked the incredible designer Jearson Demavivas for her beautiful dress as well as for imparting the Philippine culture with her people back home.
Miss British Virgin Islands in a patterned Filipino gown.
Miss Guatemala was all smiles as she walked down the ramp.
Miss Malaysia felt honored to wear the Philippines' national costume and that the crowd in Vigan was “absolutely phenomenal” for “being a great support.” She added, “I feel right at home.”
Miss Czech Republic looked royal in a black lacy A-line gown.
Miss Uruguay was a goddess in a blue and flesh dress.
Miss Belgium said that she was “in love with this dress.”
Miss Cayman Islands thanked celebrated Filipino designer Cherry Veric for making her look fierce that night.
