Pops Fernandez, Martin Nievera together for 'Bayanihan Musikahan'
Centerstage judge Pops Fernandez and Martin Nievera performed together for Ryan Cayabyab's Bayanihan Musikahan COVID-19 relief efforts, on Wednesday, May 20.
The Concert Queen announced the online concert by posting an adorable black-and-white “super throwback” photo of both her and Martin on Instagram.
“Super throwback. See you tonight, (May 20) 8pm for #bayanihanmusikahan#wehealasone #standtogether#thankshealthheroes,” she wrote.
Their online show was graced by Mich Dulce of Bayanihan Musikahan Mask4AllPH Project.
“Bayanihan Musikahan” was launched by National Artist for Music Ryan Cayabyab.
It is the a free concert series which features different artists streaming their performances live on their official Facebook pages.
The movement aims to promote unity through entertainment among Filipinos during the coronavirus pandemic. The concerts also aim to raise funds for the people who were greatly affected by current crisis.
Several artists have also contributed their talents in raising the much-needed funds for the greatly affected families during the current crisis.
These include Ice Segurra, Ebe Dancel, Christian Bautista, band Sponge Cola, Jennylyn Mercado, Dennis Trillo, Ken Chan, and Rita Daniela among others.
