Out begins with Greg preparing to move into a new city with his boyfriend, Manuel, while struggling to come out as gay to his parents.

Greg's parents pay him a surprise visit to help him pack, which eventually led to a dramatic turn of events related to their son's big revelation.

After a little magic and some help from his dog, Greg gains the courage to know there is nothing he needs to hide.

Pixar films such as the Toy Story franchise and Onward have shown minor gay characters in the story, but Out is Pixar's first film with a same sex couple and gay lead character.

Netizens were quick to send positive reactions to Pixar's Twitter post.

Out is now available for streaming on Disney+.
