Is Richard Gutierrez the next 'Survivor Philippines' host?

Sa set ng "Full House," Richard Gutierrez, gave the press an update kung ano ba ang dapat natin abangan sa kanya ngayong 2010. Kasama na nga ba dito ang pagiging new host ng "Survivor Philippines"? Text by Loretta G. Ramirez. Interviews and photos by Connie M. Tungul Last few weeks na ng Full House, at excited na si Richard Gutierrez sa magiging ending ng love story nina Justin at Jessie. "I-shoo-shoot namin next week 'yung acceptance ni Justin na mahal na niya si Jessie kasi talagang mawawala na sa kanya nang tuluyan si Jessie," ang kuwento ni Richard nang binisita namin siya last week ang set ng Full House. "So 'yun talaga ang mga moment na people should watch out for kasi pati ako hinihintay ko rin iyon eh. As an actor parang hinihintay ko 'yung kailan ba mai-in love 'yung character ko dito. Kailan ba niya tatanggapin kasi lagi siyang in denial? So, pati ako hinihintay ko 'yun. I think people should watch out for that and of course ang finale week namin, kung anong manyayari." After this romantic-comedy, Richard said that he will be busy preparing for the sequel of Captain Barbel. Pero how true are the rumors na may offer for him to host Survivor Philippines? "Masaya 'yun kasi 'yun yung hobby ko, adventure talaga. I mean if I can do both I'd be happy to do both," ang sagot ni Richard. He however divulged na he is looking forward to be a part of the famous reality show. "I want to host Survivor. Sana kung mabigyan ako ng chance na magawa ko 'yung Captain Barbel at the same time, magawa ko rin 'yung Survivor." Pero bakit nga ba hindi? "Kasi 'yun yung conflict ngayon eh. 'Yung Barbel kasi matagal 'yun. It’s going to run for a few months. Baka magsapaw 'yung dalawa. Pero given the chance in the future, sana magkaroon pa ako ng ibang pagkakataon sa Survivor. Hopefully magawan ng paraan. Pero kung hindi man mapunta sa akin, okay lang din. Sana in the future kasi 'yun yung type ko talagang adventures, 'yung sa island," he explained. Isa pang dapat abangan sa aktor ay ang movie niya with Ms. Claudine Barretto. "It's really exciting for me and it is a surprise na makakatrabaho ko si Ms. Claudine Barretto. Kasi hindi ko ma-imagine na makakatrabaho ko siya sa isang pelikula. She is one of our finest actresses today. It is really an honor for me to be working with her." Sa dami ng mga projects na naka-line up for Richard at with his advocacies, totoo namang napakabusy ng 2010 for him.
