EXO-SC preparing for second album and July comeback

By Marah Ruiz

EXO-SC, an EXO sub-unit consisting of members Sehun and Chanyeol, are gearing up for a comeback this coming July.

This was confirmed by their agency SM Entertainment to South Korean news outlet Dong-A.com on June 9.

Their statement simply said that the two are "preparing an album to be released in July."

This was after rumors circulated that Sehun and Chanyeol were shooting a music video, while others suggested that the shoot was for the duo's album jacket.

This upcoming album is the follow up to their successful debut mini-album 'What a Life' which they released in July last year.

Sehun and Chanyeol first fueled speculations of an EXO-SC comeback when they spoke briefly about writing songs and working together in the summer during an Instagram live video they had with South Korean hiphop artist Gaeko last March.

The two were once again spotted in a studio with Gaeko in a video from Sehun's now deleted TikTok account.

Aside from doing preparations for the upcoming album, Sehun is also in talks to join the film The Pirates: Goblin Flag as the main character.

He has also recently wrapped up filming for the third season of Netflix original mystery variety show Busted!

Meanwhile, Chanyeol has recently collaborated with DJ Raiden for the song "Yours" which was released last May.

He is set to do a once-in-a-lifetime collaboration with veteran singer and South Korea's National Diva Lee Sun-hee.
