South Korean singer and actress IU will be singing the soundtrack for upcoming reality show I-LAND.

The show is a joint venture between entertainment companies CJ ENM and Big Hit Entertainment--Korean boy band BTS's agency.

I-LAND is dubbed as an observation reality show featuring actor Namgoong Min as the show host, with Korean musicians Rain and Zico as producers and Big Hit Entertainment founder Bang Si-hyuk as general producer.

IU will be singing the show's pop-rock soundtrack, "Into the I-LAND" which was composed by Bang Si-hyuk.

The song expresses the world view of I-LAND contestants and has a futuristic feel.

I-LAND's teaser gives a look into the show's concept where viewers are taken into a forest that leads to a large building where the contestants will stay during the competition.

"Into the I-LAND" will be released on June 19, preceding I-LAND's premiere on June 26.
