Filipino-American vlogger Bretman Rock reacted to netizens' hilarious reimagining of history using modern personalities or memes.
This became a tradition in the “Twitterverse” every June 12 and it always features Bretman in every possible hero that would very much suit his image.
It seems that the vlogger is aware of this and finally broke his silence over the matter.
He quipped, “You all do this to me every year. I hate you all.”

#RP612fic is an alternative history storytelling event held in celebration of Philippine Independence Day in which Filipinos use Twitter to post flash fiction.
Meanwhile, earlier this year, the internet sensation drew strong criticisms after a video of him twerking to the Philippine national anthem resurfaced online.
The original video was uploaded by Bretman on his Instagram stories last September 2019 where he is seen singing and eventually dancing to “Lupang Hinirang.”
I just want to inform y'all, the video of Bretman singing and disrespecting our national anthem on his story was 3 mos ago. and he deleted it immediately and HE APOLOGIZED IMMEDIATELY. I HOPE U CONSIDER THAT. pic.twitter.com/mUclEs4Yzh

By December 30, the video began popping up again on sites such as Facebook and YouTube thus prompting the YouTuber to apologize for his actions.
