BH Entertainment and ZIUM Contents are reportedly in discussion with Netflix for the series' Korean adaptation.

Netflix crime drama series Money Heist may be having a Korean adaptation soon.

The popular Spanish TV show, originally titled La Casa de Papel, has been airing since 2017 with four seasons streaming on Netflix and a fifth season to be released on April 2021.

The story revolves around a man known as The Professor who recruits eight people to help him create a robbery at the Royal Mint of Spain.

It has become one of the most highly-watched dramas on Netflix in various countries including South Korea, so it's no surprise that talks of a Korean remake are being reported.

According to an exclusive report from Ilgan Sports, BH Entertainment and its production agency ZIUM Contents are proposing a remake version of Money Heist.

Netizens have already started speculating on who might get casted if the planned remake should push through.
