Hwasa is drop-dead gorgeous in 'Maria' music video
It's all or nothing for K-pop idol Hwasa as she drops the latest music video for her album and title track, “Maria.”
In the four-minute video, the MAMAMOO singer dabbles into themes of moving past self-doubt and public judgment thus transcending into the idol that she is today.
By the end of the music video, we also see a cameo of MAMAMOO members Solar, Moonbyul, and Wheein, visiting or celebrating Hwasa's success for the track.

In a separate interview, Hwasa revealed that like her first solo track “Twit,” “Maria” has some underlying meaning behind its upbeat melody.
Saying, “Since I was young, I've always loved and thought that life is similar to a song that is both happy and sad.
“Just like 'Twit,' there is sadness buried beneath the uplifting beats in 'Maria.'”
It was reported that Hwasa participated in the composition of the lyrics for the track along with producer Park Woo-sang.
As of this writing, “#HwasaMaria” has already gained the #1 trending spot in Philippine Twitter with fans going gaga over the released music video.
