K-pop idol and EXO member Baekhyun is definitely a millionaire --- in terms of album records, that is.

According to SM Entertainment, his second mini-album “Delight” has officially 1,018,746 copies as of June 30, making Baekhyun the first solo artist in 19 years to surpass the mark since Kim Gun Mo's seventh album in 2001.

To thank fans for helping him reach the milestone, Baekhyun posted a video in EXO's official Twitter account and said, “Thanks to you, our EXO-L, I've set a grand record.

“I told you through VLive that you should feel proud.

“The record was achieved not on my own, but with the help of our EXO-L, so please enjoy to continue feeling proud.

“I'll continue to make you happier, so please wait a little bit. Until the day we can finally go out, let's meet each other often online as we wait for that day to happen.

“EXO-L, thank you so much. I know these words aren't enough to express how thankful I am. I love you, EXO-L, and thank you for making me happy. Thank you for being there to allow me to make you feel happy.

“I'm not sure what I am saying, but thank you all. I love you.”

It was on May 25 when Baekhyun released his second mini-album “Delight” with the song “Candy” as its title track which swept the #1 spot on iTunes album charts in a total of 69 countries.

As of this writing, the music video for “Candy” has already reached 27 million views since its upload.

Aside from Baekhyun's grand achievement, EXO's first album “XOXO” in 2013 also deemed the million-seller title.

At the time, it marked a new era of “million sellers” in South Korea's pop music scene.
