Filipino dance crew UPeepz has qualified in the reality TV competition World of Dance in the United States.

The hip-hop dance group emerged victorious from the World of Dance semifinals.

UPeepz faced off with American dance crew The Rise in a round called the Duels on June 30.

The group's 11 members performed Pitbull's “Hotel Room Service,” in full costume as bellhops with a luggage trolley as a prop.

World of Dance judge Jennifer Lopez, known for being critical of UPeepz during the Qualifiers lauded the group's latest concept and performance.

She told UPeepz, “I love this concept,” the pop star said. “You guys really stepped it up from the first time we saw you, I gotta tell you.”

Judge Derek Hough also loved UPeepz production number, saying, "The synchronicity, tight movement is so fantastic."

However, fellow judge Ne-Yo had a critique for the group's tricks, particularly one that showcased a member bending over backward.

"Some of the tricks didn't really fall for me, like the slow down part with the backbend? I feel like that was a missed opportunity for something slightly more
exciting."

Nonetheless, Ne-Yo still praised the group's effort.

"That's the one thing I can comment on. Everything else, they've got the work for it."

Meanwhile, The Rise performed Pussycat Dolls' “Don't Cha.”

Overall, UPeepz won the judges' vote 2-1, with Ne-Yo voting for The Rise.

The dance crew is now closer to the show finals, with a chance to win the $1 million grand prize.
