Kapuso actress Elijah Alejo has already gone through her first shoot during the general community quarantine (GCQ) for the first comeback episode of Wish Ko Lang.

Elijah confessed that she was initially a bit apprehensive about joining a shoot during the GCQ.

“At first, I was a bit anxious because of the virus but I know that the production will keep us safe and healthy before, during and after the shoot.

“The safety protocols implemented during the shoot were to always wear your mask, reducing the number of people on the set, observing social distancing, and no beso-beso or any physical greetings.”

Aside from this being Elijah's first shoot during the GCQ, this is also her first time working with Direk Sigrid Andrea Bernardo, director of the highest-grossing Filipino indie film Kita Kita and the award-winning movie Ang Huling Cha-cha ni Anita.

According to Elijah, it was a pleasure working with Direk Sigrid for the the pilot episode of Wish Ko Lang.

“It's actually my first time working with Direk Sigrid and she is really kind and you can see her determination to make Wish Ko Lang's comeback episode a good one.

“She makes sure that we know our characters well.”

In the pilot episode of Wish Ko Lang, Elijah will be playing the role of Kryzia, daughter of the main character named Joan.

Elijah said she could relate well to Kryzia because they're both optimistic and loving to their parents.
