American actress Naya Rivera shared a post on Instagram about being alive, five days before she went missing.

The 33-year-old Glee star wrote, "No matter the year, circumstance, or strifes everyday you're alive is a blessing.

"Make the most of today and every day you are given. tomorrow is not promised."

Naya was declared missing after Ventura County Sheriff's Office officials confirmed the news and started a search for the actress, who disappeared after going on a boat ride in Lake Piru with her four-year-old son on July 8.

According to the Ventura County's officials, Naya rented a boat at about 1 p.m. with her son to Lake Piru. Around three hours later, another boater found Naya's son alone and asleep on the boat, unharmed and wearing his life jacket. Naya's son, later on, said that his mother went swimming on the lake but didn't return to the boat.

"This is considered to be a horrible accident," Ventura County Sheriff's Department officials told NBC Los Angeles, also mentioning that there was no evidence for foul play.

Prior to her disappearance, Naya shared a photo of her with her son bonding under the sun.

Naya is best known for playing the role of Santana in the hit series Glee, which she starred in for its entire six-season run.

She also appeared in Devious Maids, American Dad!, and was a guest judge for RuPaul's Drag Race in 2017. She was recently on the show Step Up: High Water.
