He equates the movie's caliber with critically and internationally acclaimed films The Notebook, which was top-billed by American stars Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams; South Korean film A Moment to Remember of Son Ye-jin and Jung Woo-sung; and Filipino movies Magnifico starring Jiro Manio; and In the Name of Love of Angel Locsin and Aga Muhlach.

"Hay!

Through Night And Day follows the story of two lovers' vacation to Iceland, where their relationship was put to the test as they discover each other's faults and quirks and realized just how different they really are from each other.

Produced by Viva Vilms and directed by Veronica Velasco, Through Night and Day first hit Philippine cinemas in 2018 and on Netflix on July 9.

Since then, the movie consistently stayed on Netflix Philippines's top 10 trending streams.

On Twitter, fans raved about the romantic film saying how the film made them feel a roller coaster of emotions up to its conclusion.

Meanwhile, Paolo's other film Ang Pangarap Kong Holdap also became available on Netflix last July 2.
