Anthony Rosaldo reveals difficulties while recording 'Pwedeng Tayo' at home

Kapuso singer Anthony Rosaldo shared his experience in recording his third single under GMA Music, “Pwedeng Tayo,” while under quarantine at home.

In an exclusive interview with GMANetwork.com, Anthony revealed that he needed to take care of his voice while recording the song.

He said, “Ako, 'yung struggle ko, ako mismo kailangan mag-correct sa sarili ko and I'm really hard to please pagdating sa sarili kong craft.”

“So, paulit-ulit ko siyang ginawa hanggang ma-satisfy ako to the point na parang, kailangan ko nang alalayan 'yung voice ko [kasi] kailangan ko balik-balikan 'yung mga ayaw ko.

Anthony added that he was a one-man team, checking his breathing patterns, and the feeling of the song.

“Ako rin 'yung magka-cut, ako rin mag-che-check kung tama 'yung mga hinga, kung tama 'yung pakiramdam na binigay ko,” he added.

“Kasi sa recording [sa studio], mayroon kang coach na pwedeng mag-guide sa'yo, who can tell you na, 'Anthony, dapat dito sa part na 'to, soft ka lang. Anthony, dapat dito sa part na 'to, masaya ka.'”

Nevertheless, Anthony felt proud that he was able to do a song amid the pandemic that entertains people in these trying times.

“Two times siya na mas mahirap and it could be easier kung mayroon nga akong kasamang coach 'tsaka engineer.

“Pero, I'm always up for a challenge naman. I enjoyed it also. I feel accomplished after," he ended.

Anthony's third single titled “Pwedeng Tayo” is now available on Spotify, iTunes, and other streaming services.
