Michael Pacquiao does 'Fast Talk' on 'Unang Hirit'

Michael Pacquiao, son of boxing legend and politician Manny Pacquiao, is starting to come out of his father's shadow and make a name for himself as a rapper.

Michael made a debut on the music scene with the release of Michael Bars's single Pac-man where he got featured.

The title “Pac-Man” suggests, the song references Manny's nickname on the ring and even features Michael Buffer's iconic catchphrase, “Let's get ready to rumble.”

In just a month after its release, “Pac-Man” has already garnered more than two million views on YouTube.

In an exclusive interview in Unang Hirit earlier, July 23, the rising artist shared that he's been enthusiastic with music since he was a child.

“Music has been a part of me na ever since nu'ng bata pa ako and I think it grew throughout the years,” he said.

“Nabuo ko ito with my friend. So, kanya 'yun and he hit me up sa Instagram and then he asked to like if I can be featured in it. And then I said yes. Nangyari lang all of a sudden,” he added.

He likewise related that her parents Manny and Jinkee Pacquiao are supportive of him.

“Supportive sila. They let me do my thing. I asked to buy 'yung stuff needed for music, they agreed. I guess they believed in me and I'm happy,” he added.
