BTS new world record


K-pop boy group BTS is setting another world record for music.

The boys of BTS have scored another world record as they earn the Guinness World Record for most viewers for a music concert livestream.

The news was confirmed on social media by Guinness World Records' official Twitter.

A total of 756,000 fans from over 100 counties watched BTS perform on June 14th for the "Bang Bang Con the Live" live concert aired via South Korean app and website WeVerse. The boys performed their popular hits such as "Boy with Luv" and "Just One Day."

The online concert was part of the group's 7th anniversary celebration prior to the release of Map of the Soul: 7 - The Journey, their fourth Japanese language album.

BTS currently has multiple Guinness World Records titles such as the first K-pop act to reach number one on the US album chart, and the K-pop group with the most twitter engagements.

The BTS fandom known as "army" also set a record in March 2019 for the most used hashtag in 24 hours, #TwitterBestFandom which was used 60,055,339 times.

The boy's official TikTok @bts_official_bighit also took only three hours and 31 minutes to reach over a million followers on social media app TikTok, setting a record for the fastest time to reach one million followers on TikTok.
