One Direction celebrates 10 years

One Direction celebrates their 10th anniversary by releasing remastered, 4K versions of their most enduring hits.

English-Irish pop boy band One Direction has got their fans buzzing once more as they celebrate their 10th anniversary.

To mark the occasion, the band is set to release remastered, 4K versions of their past music videos.

The special release was first teased in One Direction's official Twitter account, which has been inactive since 2018.

"Tomorrow! You and me got a whole lot of history #10YearsOf1D," the tweet from July 22 reads.

Only July 23, a video compilation of One Direction's best moments from the last 10 years was uploaded on the band's official YouTube channel.

This was soon followed by the remastered, 4K version of the music video for their hit debut single "What Make You Beautiful."

The band is scheduled to release remastered, 4K versions of their other music videos like "Live While We're Young," "Story of My Life," "Steal My Girl," and "History."

They will also livestream a concert from their 2014 tour.

One Direction is made up of Niall Horan, Liam Payne, Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson, while former member Zayn Malik departed from the group in 2015.

The group was formed in 2010 on the seventh season of singing competition The X Factor.

The group went on hiatus on January 2016 while the members pursued individual projects.
