Kapuso shows and radio programs win big at Gandingan 2020!
With the theme “Midya: Kakampi ng Bayan sa Laban para sa Katarungan,” this year's Gandingan Awards have chosen to honor several programs and personalities from GMA Network.
For the past 14 years, UP Community Broadcasters' Society, the organizers of Gandigan Awards, remains to be the only student organization award-giving body that runs one of the country's most credible and highly anticipated university-based awards. It is the only recognition program that highlights the value of development communication and the contribution of both national and local or community-based media workers and organizations in changing the lives of the Filipinos
This year, GMA Network went home with 24 awards and special citations including Most Development Oriented AM and FM station, Best AM Radio Program host, Most Development Oriented News Story and TV Plug, Most Development Oriented Musical Segment/Program, Most Gender Transformative Program, and Best News Anchors.
