Asked if he plans to create his own YouTube channel, he answered, “Yes. Nandu'n na tayo kasi sa new normal.

"So, we have to utilize all resources we can get to survive and also be more in touch with the supporters and fans na nandiyan.

"May possibility in the months to come that I will be launching my YouTube channel.”

Meanwhile, although restricted due to the community quarantine brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic, Alden has been interacting with his fans through gaming and live streaming.

Alden launched his AR Gaming on Facebook last June 14 and already held a few streams to date.

"I'll be streaming all of my games here in my Facebook page. 'Yung Alden Richards na verified page,” he said.

Upon announcing his new venture, the actor shared some key points why he started gaming and how it changed his perspective about things.

"Ever since I was young, I was a gamer. Gamer na kami ng kuya ko so iba eh. Parang it's a different world. Games are games. Kahit ano pa ang composition ng laro,” he noted.

He then advised his fellow gamers to properly balance gaming and their personal life.

"Perfect balance lang. Dapat balanse lang. Ako kaya lang naman ako bugbog sa online games gawa ng quarantine.

“Sa mga nasa bahay ngayon, stay safe, stay at home, manood ng stream. At gumawa ng makabuluhang bagay,” he added.

Meanwhile, in an episode of Eat Bulaga's “Bawal Judgmental” segment where game streamers and their concerns were put on the spotlight, Alden expressed his dismay over the prevalent sexism in the online gaming community.

He said that despite the differences in gender, every gamer should be treated equally.
