Update as of August 13, 2020 On August 12, BTS shared their first group photo for “Dynamite” that features the group in a retro-pop background.

“Dynamite” is slated to be released on August 21 and will be performed in the English language following its predecessors, “Mic Drop” and “Waste It On Me.”

During a V Live session, BTS members RM, J-hope, and V revealed that the decision to perform the new single in English was already “perfect.”

They added, “We recorded the guide version and felt that the result was something new and fresh.”

Furthermore, the album will be highly self-produced with each member acting as project managers for each division.

BTS member Jimin revealed, “Our album this time will be self-produced by us, so we picked PMs.

“I got the music project manager. Suga gave his opinion very strongly. He told me, 'I want you to become closer to music through this' and strongly recommended me for the role.

“I am very grateful.”
