The date August 12, 1995, is an important date for the kids of the '90s because it's the day T.G.I.S. aired on television.

Today, a quarter of a decade later, its cast still couldn't believe how far they've come.

On Instagram, director Mark Reyes shared, "25 years ago, we had a little show that became a phenomenon. 25 years ago we became friends. 25 years later, we are still a family.

"Happy 25 years @angeludeleonrivera @iambobbyandrews @michaeljohnflores @pinaypole @redsternerg @vanillaskykit @uno_111 #tgis25years #happy25yearsofgrouphugs"

For her castmates, she wrote, "I thank God for all of you. Group hug, guys! We will celebrate with you guys soon. #TGIS #TGIS25 #ThankGodItsSabado #25Years #Anniversary"

Meanwhile, Michael Flores thanked GMA Network for re-airing the youth-oriented show in the Heart of Asia channel.

He mentioned, "Salamat @heartofasia2003 at binuhay niyo ulit ang barkada na nagsimula ng youth-oriented show on Philippine Television since 1995!

"Sa lahat po ng supporters namin mula noon hanggang ngayon, at sa mga kabataan na patuloy na tumatangkilik sa programa namin, Marmaing salamat po.

"Mabuhay ang TGIS! Salamat @gmanetwork and @viva_tv / @viva_films kundi sa inyo walang TGIS! #ThankGodItsSabado #TGIS25 #Batang90s"
