BLACKPINK's Jisoo takes lead role in new drama by writer and director of 'Sky Castle'

Korean girl group BLACKPINK member Jisoo is confirmed to take on the lead role of an upcoming drama with the working title Snowdrop, which might air on JTBC, Korean media reported

This was also confirmed by Jisoo's entertainment agency, YG Entertainment.

The drama will be written by Yoo Hyun-mi and directed by Jo Hyun-tak, who are both from the team behind the hit drama Sky Castle.

Prior to her upcoming role as lead actress, Jisoo appeared in the drama The Producers. She also had a minor role in Arthdal Chronicles.

Fans have taken to Twitter to show their excitement for Jisoo's acting project.

BLACKPINK has also recently confirmed their music collaboration with musician Selena Gomez.
