Here's what the BLACKPINK members have to say about working with pop sensation Selena Gomez.

BLACKPINK members Jennie Kim, Jisoo Kim, Rosé Park, and Lisa Manoban revealed how they felt when they worked with American singer Selena Gomez for their latest track, "Ice Cream."

In a Q&A with BLACKPINK and Korean media on August 28, the group shared their thoughts on their collaboration with Selena.

BLACKPINK revealed how despite not meeting Selena in person yet due to COVID-19 restrictions, they were able to communicate online for their track.

"We are all big fans of Selena Gomez. We couldn't meet in real life but communicated with each other multiple times, so we were able to feel her charming personality.

"She was humble and down-to-earth when sharing her opinions with us, which made us realize that she's such a cool person.

"Selena Gomez told us that she's also a fan of BLACKPINK, which made us really happy. We are all very satisfied with the results that were created through her musical synergy with us."

Similarly, Selena Gomez showed her love and support for BLACKPINK and tweeted about their single's release.

The hashtag #SELPINKToday also topped the Philippine Twitter trends list as the music video for "Ice Cream" was released.
