With the re-airing of some of the best Kapuso shows during the enhanced community quarantine on television, fans are eagerly awaiting for one show to make its return and its the 2002 series, Kung Mawawala Ka.

On Saturday, Kapuso actress Sunshine Dizon became one of the trending topics on Twitter Philippines with fans pleading to restore the beloved series.

It is unclear how the topic started but one could trace it back to a netizen named “@IconsMshine” who asked fans of the actress to talk about the drama in the platform.

She said, “For those who don't know yet, this is the plot summary of 'Kung Mawawala Ka.'

“It is a modern retelling of the Romeo and Juliet classic love affair personified by Rosa Camilla Montemayor (@m_sunshinedizon) and Carlito Valiente (Cogie Domingo).

“Rosa Camilla's father, Governor Leandro Montemayor (Eddie Garcia), uses his power to take Rosa Camilla away from the son of his political rival, Congressman Carlos Valiente (Vic Vargas).

“The plot summary alone is interesting, I hope @gmanetwork can restore this glorious teleserye for everyone to watch for the first time or watch again.”

Another netizen wrote, “'Kung Mawawala Ka' was an award-winning epic political thriller and love story Philippine drama produced by GMA Network and directed by Joel Lamangan.”

A fan argued, “Damn, look at her! She's Rosa Camilla Montemayor, the daughter of Governor Leandro Montemayor and everyone deserves to know her.”

Kung Mawawala Ka premiered on GMA Network back on April 22, 2002, and concluded on June 6, 2003. It starred Sunshine Dizon, Cogie Domingo, Eddie Garcia, Liza Lorena, Gloria Diaz, and so much more.

Currently, Sunshine stars in the GMA series Magkaagaw and the re-airing episodes of Ika-6 na Utos.
