Coleen Garcia to deliver baby via water birth due to COVID-19 threat

With the release of her beautiful maternity photos, actress Coleen Garcia revealed that she is planning to deliver her first child via water birth.

The actress relayed the message to photographer and friend BJ Pascual in the latter's latest vlog.

She said that while she received advice from fellow moms about the safe ways to deliver her baby, the COVID-19 pandemic has made the situation a bit different for pregnant women like her.

“It's such a unique time na kahit na anong advice ang hingin ko from different mommies, iba pa rin kasi ang time na 'to.

“Like right now, we're praying for a successful home birth. So, we're not gonna go to a hospital. Mahirap talaga!

“Hindi kami dito sa living room kasi baka putukin ng cats 'yung tub namin. I mean birth is so unpredictable kaya ang hirap magsabi na tapos na.

“But that's my plan, to give a water birth here at home, sa master's bedroom. 'Di na talaga ako lumabas this whole quarantine season!”

Coleen and her husband Billy Crawford announced that they are expecting their first child on May 1, 2020. She is expected to give birth to a baby boy any time soon.
