Lovi Poe

Lovi Poe shared her thoughts on acting as a craft and called it "a life changing experience."

Kapuso actress Lovi Poe feels ecstatic about her television shows and movies reaching a wider audience worldwide, thanks to various streaming services.

GMA Network has been uploading full episodes of television show which can be streamed via the GMA Network app.

The network is also part of YouTube's Super Stream where Lovi's 2013 movie Sana Data can be streamed for free.

A few of her shows and movies will also be available on other streaming services.

Because of this, the actress turned reflective and shared her thought about acting as a craft.

For Lovi, acting is a life changing experience.

"The thing about acting...the time, effort and heart actors put into their roles. We read and internalize what's on the script. But it's really giving a piece of your existence into a character. It's a life changing experience. So it's really amazing when our body of work is able to reach new & bigger audiences with the hope of touching lives and making a difference, no matter how small or significant," she wrote on Instagram.

She recalled her experience in GMA Telebabad series Someone to Watch Over Me where she played Joanna, the wife of a man who has early onset Alzheimer's disease.

"As my acting coach once told me about my character in Someone to Watch Over Me: He loved Joanna. For him it was work, but other times it was love: how he wanted to be there for her, for everything terrible she had to face for that day. I will never forget how he told me: 'That was not acting. That was living. Thank you for living,'" she shared.

Lovi hopes that her body of work can touch lives of others.

"And I hope the shows we actors make can make you feel in some way that there's going to be someone to talk to, listen to. Someone to cry with, to stop and breathe with," she says.
