Kyline Alcantara takes up Tourism course
Bilangin ang Bituin sa Langit actress Kyline Alcantara has started a new journey toward her dream of promoting the Philippines globally.
In an interview with 24 Oras, the 18-year-old shared what inspired her to take up the course.

“I want to have enough knowledge about the Philippines so pagdating ko sa ibang bansa, kayang-kaya kong ipagmalaki kung gaano kaganda 'yung Pilipinas.
“Pang-showbiz man na sagot pero 'yun talaga 'yung dahilan talaga kung bakit ako kumuha ng Tourism,” she said.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Kyline's classes are being done online.
Like any other college freshmen, she admitted that she felt "scared" due to the fact that she enrolled in a new school and this is her first time to attend online classes.
“More of nakakatakot sa akin. Kasi bagong school, e. So, lahat ng nandu'n sa school ko na 'yon, parang kilala nila isa't isa. And 'yun nga first year ng college and first time ko rin mag-online talaga.
“I'm excited for the challenge na kung paano ko ima-manage 'yung time ko,” she added.
Meanwhile, Kyline recently celebrated her fun-filled 18th birthday. She marked the special day by posting her exquisite birthday photos.
Since she has reached the legal age, broadcast journalist Nelson Canlas asked her what changes this milestone has brought into her life.
“Wala siya masyadong pagbabago kasi I feel like ever since parang kahit nu'ng bata pa ako, I have a lot of responsibilities already.
“So, hindi ko naman siya ganun na-differentiate. Ngayon lang, naging legal lang ako sa napakaraming bagay. I'm still happy. I'm still satisfied sa nangyayari,” the actress added.
Kyline also revealed that she's planning to buy a lot for her dream home as a birthday gift to herself.
“Nag-iisip ako ng for a long-term investment. Nag-iisip ako more of like lupa, lote para next year mapatayuan ko na,” she said.
