Korean singers Jung Joon-young and Choi Jong-hoon's jail terms have been finalized by the Supreme Court of South Korea as of September 24.

In November 2019, the Seoul central District Court sentenced Jung Joon-young to six years in prison and Choi Jong-hoon to five years for charges including aggravated rape.

In May 2020, the Seoul High Court decided to reduce Jung Joon-young's sentence to five years and Choi Jong-hoon's to two years and six months. As this case was brought to the Supreme Court for a new round of hearings, the second division of the Supreme Court affirmed Jung Joon-young's prison terms to five years, and Choi Jong-hoon's to two years and six months.

The court stated, "There was no violation of legal principles or misrepresentation of facts due to subjective reasoning or experience in the original ruling, and there was also no misconception of jurisprudence."

The two Korean celebrities were found guilty of intoxicating and raping women in two incidents which took place in Hongcheon, Gangwon Province in January 2016 and Daegu in March 2016.

Jung Joon-young was also convicted guilty for illegally filming videos of his sexual acts with women and distributing them through a group chat in 2015.
