Are you excited for the upcoming games of the PBA bubble tournament?
Volleyball superstar Alyssa Valdez and former Miss World Philippines Laura Lehmann are feeling a bit sad because they will be away from their partners for a couple of months.
Both of their partners, professional basketball players Kiefer Ravena and Von Pessumal will participate in the Philippine Basketball Association's (PBA) bubble tournament.
In a detailed article by espn.com, it reported that the PBA bubble tournament will be held in Clark, Pampanga. Basically, a bubble tournament isolates the teams (including players, staff, and coaches) and all authorized members of the PBA in one general area during practices and games. They will play without an audience but the games will be televised.
In the same report, teams will have to submit their final roster of players by Sept 25 and players are given until October 10 to enter the bubble.
In addition, games and scrimmages will be held at Angeles University Foundation (AUF) in Angeles City and teams will have to stay at the Quest Hotel in Mimosa.
In order to protect the safety of all those participating in the bubble tournament, the PBA will ensure the strict implementation of protocols like mandatory swab testing through the RT-PCR test and many more.
On her Instagram post, former Ateneo de Manila University star spiker Alyssa Valdez posted a sweet message for NLEX Road Warriors guard Kiefer Ravena.
“I hate to say this but I hope to see you after two months
“Good luck and enjoy the PBA bubble, babe."
Meanwhile, Laura Lehmann, who got engaged to San Miguel Beermen cager Von Pessumal in May admitted that their home will be a lot quieter without her fiancé.
If everything goes smoothly, the former Miss World Philippines will be reunited with Von sometime in December.
