Super Junior's fans, called Everlasting Friends or E.L.F.s, have defended their title as the undisputed winner in Billboard's Fan Army Face-off.

On October 13, Billboard announced that the fandom had won the final face-off against the fans of Niall Horan.

“Victorious for the second time is Korean boy band Super Junior, who won the Fan Army Face-Off in 2018, the most recent year it was held,” it said.

“Super Junior's fan army helped propel the group to the top. They beat out -- in order -- Tomorrow x Together's Moments of Alwaysness, Billie Eilish's fans, Beyonce's BeyHive, EXO's EXO-L, Liam Payne's fans, and in the final round, Niall Horan's loyal following.”

The voting was conducted from October 1 to October 14 for the fan clubs of 64 artists from around the world, which were selected to reflect Billboard editors' opinions and the results of the Social 50 charts.

Among those who competed are the fans of Dua Lipa, Katy Perry, Taylor Swift, Justin Bieber, and Harry Styles. In the end, Super Junior's fan club was identified as the “strongest fan army,” confirming their unwavering love for the K-pop boy group.

In their respective social media platforms, members Yesung and Donghae posted their thank you message for fans.

“Thank you, #ELF,” Yesung said on Twitter.

Meanwhile, Donghae, who will be celebrating his birthday on October 15, wrote, “Thank you for always being by my side. I love you guys! ELF”

Super Junior is set to celebrate its 15th anniversary on November 6.

Congratulations to both Super Junior and E.L.F.s!
