EXO's Chen puts his heart on his sleeve in 'Hello' music video

EXO vocalist Chen has finally released his digital single titled “Hello,” today, October 15.

Along with the release of the track, its accompanying music video also premiered on SM Entertainment's official YouTube channel.

In “Hello,” we see Chen in an empty house before going into a dream-like state where he looks into the sunset, mimicking the watercolor painting style of the single's cover art.

“My love, I may not ever know if this incomplete letter would reach you. Even if it doesn't, I hope you're fine. I desperately hope that you'll be well,” he sings.

According to SM Entertainment, “Hello” is a Britpop song composed and arranged by Kim Jae-hwi, and was written by Hwang Yoo-bin. The song expresses one's desire to know the other person's well-being.

As of this writing, the #HelloDearCHEN, #CHENHelloSingle, and #jongdae have dominated the top spots in Twitter Philippines, proving the fans' excitement toward the track.

Chen gained global popularity for his outstanding singing abilities and intense performances under the multi-talented K-pop boy group EXO.

As for his solo ventures, he has recorded numerous soundtracks for various drama series including the recently released OST for the K-drama “Do You Like Brahms?”
