Believe it or not, The Clash Season 2 grand champion Jeremiah Tiangco recorded his debut single, "Titulo," at the comfort and safety of his own home. The new single was released yesterday, October 15, under GMA Music.

Despite the coronavirus pandemic restrictions, the Kapuso soul singer looks at this situiation as an advantage because he was able to learn more about music production.

"Bukod sa nadi-discover ko pa po mag-produce, mas lumawak po 'yung knowledge ko about music, about recording. Sobrang siniksik 'yung music," Jeremiah tells GMANetwork.com in a virtual media conference for "Titulo."

Jeremiah is beyond thankful to GMA Music's A&R Manager Kedy Sanchez for giving him the freedom to inject his own style in the new single.

"Nakaktuwa sa GMA Music si Sir Kedy. Magka-video call po kami habang nire-record ko 'yung kanta so na-a-assist po ako kung ano 'yung dapat kong gawin," the All Out Sundays mainstay recalls with enthusiasm.

"'Yong boses ko daw po is andiyan na, ako na lang po bahala sa style ko kung ano 'yung gagawin ko sa kanta.

"Nakakatuwa po, though it's pop, nabigyan ko po s'ya ng touch of soul.," he further shares.

After releasing his debut single, Jeremiah's next step is to compose his own songs.

When asked where he takes inspiration from writing songs, the talented singer says, "Basta may melody po ako, nagagawa ko po 'yung kanta. Kunwari bibiyan n'yo lang po ako ng topic, dito po ako nagbe-base sa gitara ko kung ano 'yung sasabihin ng lyrics ko."

"Titulo" got included in Spotify's Fresh Finds Philippines playlist one day after its release.

Last April, Jeremiah debuted his song, "Saludo," on Unang Hirit. He personally composed and produced the song during the lockdown which he dedicates to all the COVID-19 frontliners.
