Direk Mark Reyes shares a glimpse of an upcoming 'Voltes V: Legacy' costume

By Cara Emmeline Garcia

Voltes V: Legacy fans are beaming with excitement as director Mark Reyes shared a glimpse of what's to come in the live-action adaptation of the popular anime.

On Instagram, Direk Mark posted a “sneak peek” of a costume designed by Lead Visual Designer Noel Layon Flores.

“And here we go! We're moving forward with creating the world of #voltesvlegacy #letsvoltin #soon,” penned Direk Mark, tagging the production team of the highly anticipated series.

In the photo, hints of the design can be seen in the character's right sleeve. The colors used are prominently grey and silver, with hints of gold in the arm's lower portion.

The document is also filed with the name “boazaniansilverX.jpg,” which could be a clue to the character's secret identity.

While no character in the original anime under the name “silver x” exists, it can be recalled that the term “Boazanian” refers to the race on the planet of Boazan that is led by Emperor Zu Zambajil, the main antagonist of the series.

As expected, eager fans have shared their delight to see an update from the upcoming GMA adaptation, including actor Alfred Vargas.
