Frankie Pangilinan revealed that she has suffered from anxiety since the age of 14 after defending Sharon Cuneta from a netizen who claimed that her mother suffers from a mental health condition on social media.

Over on Twitter, the netizen described Frankie as someone who is “full of angst,” leading her to conclude that the 19-year-old is the reason why the Megastar suffers from a panic disorder.

“@kakiep83 and Sen @kikopangilinan, please have pity on Mega @sharon_cuneta12,” it added.

The social media personality berated the netizen by retweeting the claim and said, “First of all, where have you been, miss? Ma'am Angst is the genetic code of this generation. Secondly, wtf is wrong with you?

“You don't publicize your convoluted assumptions about my mother's mental health without calling you out.

“I don't care what you think about me. But you don't ever disrespect my mother like that --- not by misrepresenting a very real mental health condition she doesn't suffer from.”

The netizen responded that she was able to pinpoint the said mental condition through observation.

“That's not disrespect, Kakie. It's an observation. People do get anxiety attacks when there's too much pressure,” it said.

Having enough of the conversation, the young Pangilinan advised her followers not to mimic her basher, especially when discussing mental health problems like anxiety.

“Guys, take notes, please,” Frankie cautioned.

“Do not ever diagnose a public figure you know nothing about.

“Do not ever blame people for your own assumed views on mental health.

“Don't try to push a false narrative onto someone who has suffered from actual clinical anxiety since she was 14.”

According to HealthLine.com, an anxiety attack is a common psychiatric disorder that includes symptoms like worry, distress, and fear. Anxiety is usually related to the anticipation of a stressful situation, experience, or event and may come on gradually.
