Singer Carol Banawa adds another feather in her cap: earning her bachelor's degree.

On Sunday, October 18, the 39-year-old singer proudly announced that she has graduated with a degree in nursing from Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona.

“Another goal achieved,” she says in the caption along with a photo of herself wearing her toga.

Carol dedicates the post to her husband, Ryan Crisostomo, who has been supportive throughout her collegiate journey.

“Thank you, mahal, for working so hard for us, which allowed me to pursue my studies. Thank you for always pushing me, supporting me, and believing in me.”

She also thanks her children, relatives, and friends who have been patient with her and contributed to her success.

“Thank you for always believing in me. I hope you are all proud of me. I love you all so much,” she says.

Concluding her post, she encourages everyone to pursue their life goals regardless of age.

“Bachelor's degree before 40. You are never too old to reach for your dreams!

“Dream it. Believe it. Do it. Conquer it. To God be the glory, “ she said.

Before receiving her diploma, Carol is already a registered nurse. She obtained her associate degree in nursing from the Northern Virginia Community College in 2018, where she graduated as her summa cum laude.

During the height of the global pandemic, she also served as a frontline medical worker.

In September, Carol announced that she is expecting her third child.

Congratulations, Carol!
